Camilla Seidelmann is a Danish-American filmmaker and screenwriter with a knack for the experimental aspects of filmmaking.
Despite her interest in experimental filmmaking, she is willing to try out different genres, especially genres and photoshoots that will pay the bills … Jokes aside, Camilla is deeply invested in each project she is given, and she tends to have an eye for the minute and abstract aspects in her work.
For Camilla, the most important part of creating and pursuing different artistic practices is the creative interactions between her and the people she collaborates with. At the end of the day, her collaborations (as well as her own individual practices) inspires her to become a better filmmaker and photographer.
Camilla is by no means an equipment elitist. She believes that every image is a testament to a moment that has existed in the past. Thus, her main philosophy as a visual storyteller is as long as the moment can be captured then there is room for making something new and unseen.
She is based in Aarhus, Denmark. She holds a master's degree in analytical journalism, cand.public.
She is a native speaker of Danish and English.
